I went to lunch with my parents today. I always love hanging out with them, we are a really close family. During lunch I told them all about Rotten Thread and our plans. They had a lot of positive feedback good criticism which helped to bring new aspects of the business to my attention. I love how encouraging and helpful they are. Simply put – my parents ROCK!

When I got home I immediately went to the computer. Yesterday was a slow day as far as Myspace is concerned. We didn’t receive a lot of attention or comments from people. So, of course, I began to get a little bit worried. I questioned whether or not this was a good idea and if we should keep moving forward. But today when I got onto Myspace, all of my worries and questions were washed away. We had received several comments and messages from people telling us they loved the shirts. But one comment really touched my heart and actually made me cry! An adorable girl wrote the following:

“What’s up, Rotten Thread!!!   I’m sooooo proud of you guys.! I checked out your website,andyou guys’ background touched my heart! You guys KEEP UP the good work! &nd STAY MOTIVATED!! Cause,I don’t know if it matters,but I see BIG THINGS for you two. I honestly do. Like,I wanted to start buying right away. Never give up,no matter how hard it may seem! It’ll be well worth it in the end.  I BELIEVE in Rotten Thread. -Sorry if I sound cheesy!- lol. But you guys are awesome.! I’m gonna spread the word of you guys,and support the best I can. But,otherwise,all my love & prayers go to you guys!”

When I read this tears filled my eyes and the biggest smile swept across my face. The first thing I did was call Javier. It feels so good to hear this from people outside of our immediate friends and family. It really encourages us and gives us that drive needed to keep moving forward.

So I wanted to take the time to thank not only our friends and family, but also each and every one of our new friends on Myspace who take the time to give us a chance and support us. We greatly appreciate it!
